Data privacy policy

The KANSAI HELIOS Group (hereinafter: the controller, contact: Količevo 65, 1230 Domžale, email: gdpr@kansai-helios.eu) respects the privacy of our users and commits to carefully protecting personal data obtained through online forms in accordance with the applicable law.

In certain parts of our website, users may voluntarily entrust us with their personal data (name, address, email etc.) In the KANSAI HELIOS Group we will use and store personal data until the end of the purpose for which we received personal data, or until consent is withdrawn. Through the use of appropriate technical and organizational procedures for securing personal data, we will prevent unauthorized access to or disclosure of personal data. 

In the event that the user has filled in the contact form on our website, we will use the information provided only for the purpose of correspondence. Unfortunately, if the user does not want to provide us with their contact details, we will not be able to answer their question.

 

The KANSAI HELIOS Group occasionally entrusts certain tasks related to the processing of acquired personal data to contractual partners, with whom it has a contract on personal data processing. These partners can process the acquired data on behalf of the KANSAI HELIOS Group only for predefined purposes and in accordance with the applicable law. When the KANSAI HELIOS Group uses software tools or stores personal data on servers outside of the European Union for other purposes, it uses approved standard contractual provisions as part of the contract with the provider of these services as a safeguard measure.

The KANSAI HELIOS Group is present also on Facebook, where we are the operator of the Helios Refinish Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/heliosrefinish/) and Facebook Ireland Ltd. is the operator of the social network. Pursuant to art. 26 paragraph 1 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) Facebook Ireland Ltd. (1st controller) and KANSAI HELIOS Group (2nd controller) are joint controllers that process Insights Data (aggregated visitors’ data) of the Helios Refinish Facebook page. 

Facebook Ireland Ltd. is providing KANSAI HELIOS Group anonymized statistical data of the visitors of Helios Refinish Facebook page and in the KANSAI HELIOS Group we use this data to constantly optimize our Facebook page by providing more relevant content to visitors of our Facebook page and therefore we use Facebook Insights on the basis of legitimate interest (art. 6 (1f) of GDPR). More information regarding relative responsibilities of Facebook Ireland Ltd and KANSAI HELIOS Group alongside with explanation of which data is collected, how it is processed and which rights users have in this regard, can be found in the Page Insights Controller Addendum document ( https://www.facebook.com/legal/terms/page_controller_addendum) and in the Facebook Data Privacy policy (https://www.facebook.com/policy.php). Please keep in mind that you post content on Helios Refinish Facebook page and send messages under Facebook Data Privacy policy and your selected privacy settings, unless explicitly stated otherwise (i.e. prize games organized by us via Facebook).

The user may at any time request from the KANSAI HELIOS Group access to their data and their correction (and in this respect the processing limit), data portability (in the case of personal consent or contract) or the deletion of their personal data (this does not apply to the data necessary for a contract, for the duration of its validity). The user may at any time cancel the given consent to the processing of personal data or object to the use of their data for direct marketing purposes. The user shall do so by sending a notification with the subject line/wording: GDPR – Colomix – “Your country” to our e-mail address: gdpr@kansai-helios.eu or by post to the address: KANSAI HELIOS Slovenija d.o.o. (GDPR Colomix), Količevo 65, 1230 Domžale, Slovenia. The withdrawal of consent does not affect the legality of the data processing that was carried out on the basis of the consent until its cancellation. Similarly, each data subject has the right to lodge a complaint directly with the Information Commissioner if they consider that the processing of their personal data is in violation of the applicable law.
